Hong Kong is an amazing destination for sea kayakers. There are over 260 islands and around 1,000 kms of coastline, including one GEOPARK that has been listed for the unique qualities of the coastline. It truly is an amazing place to explore by sea kayak.
We have put together a range of sea kayak tours for locals and visitors to Hong Kong to enjoy.
Our favoured destination to explore is a beautiful and remote island just south of Hong Kong Island called Lamma Island. It is a very popular destination for expats living in Hong Kong because of the fresh air, clean water, white sand beaches, hikes and beautiful views. Yung Shue Wan, the northern ferry terminal is regarded as Hong Kong’s hippy capital. The bohemian atmosphere is a charming contrast to hustle and bustle of Hong Kong city, just 30 minutes away by ferry.

The northern half of Lamma Island is full of contrasts.
Departing Lo So Shing village we pass through an ancient fishing village and have a close up look at a traditional Hong Kong fish farm. Heading north into the East Lamma Channel we have small traditional sampans and the forest clad Lamma Island coast on our left but 500m on our right are huge container ships and the skyrise that is Hong Kong Island.
