Hong Kong is a land of absolute contrasts and this short sea kayak trip showcases this perfectly. We start at an ancient (stone age) village beach, paddle past a classic Hong Kong sea-side community and fish farm into the busiest shiping channel in Hong Kong.
Into view comes Hong Kong Island with 1.2 million inhabitants and our destination, a totaly uninhabited island less than 2 kms from the Central financial district.
Bamboo hatted fishermen on sampans pass by super yachts at anchor. The contrasts are absolute.
And then we have visit red dog and black dog on their isolated island home. Nothing better on a perfect autumn day.
