This journey starts from Sai Kung, overnights at Billionaires Beach and explores the beautiful Bluff Island on day 2. The return journey is by speedboat back to Sai Kung.
Our first day begins slowly as we learn to pack our sea kayaks for the first time. We are using our ocean going double sea kayaks so there is plenty of room to stow gear, but please remember that only 1x20L and 1x10L bag is allocated to each person.
The journey starts in the protected waters of Port Shelter passing Sharp islaand on our left, we head towards Kay Cha for our first stop, a late lunch.
From there we cross Rocky Harbour on the way to our camp for the night – Biliionaire’s Beach. Once there you will understand why it is called so.
We set up camp early so that we can have a relaxed dinner before settling down for the night. Sunset from a wilderness setting is bliss.
Day 2 we have an early breakfast before beginning our short paddle to the beautiful Bluff Island. Depending on the wind and sea conditions we may have a chnace to circumnavigate the island, but sometimes that is not possible due to rough seas. This is now on the very edge of open ocean. Bluff Island has a beautiful beach for lunch and a smal coral reef to enjoy some snorkelling.
We return to Pak A in time to catch our pre-arranged speed boat and a very fast return to Sai Kung.
