A combination of the Outer Islands (section 1) and Double Haven (section 2) takes you through and around the massive volcanic caldera that was created over 140 million years ago then into a serene protected lagoon environment that has been the home to the hakka Chinese for hundreds of years, but to this day has no roads – the ony way into this region is by boat oea-kayak of hiking. An amazing 7 day sea kayak journey.
NB: – this is a very exposed coastline and is only for very experienced sea kayakers who are able to eskimo roll.

What's included

We use double sea kayaks unless otherwise requested (only for very experienced paddlers). Doubles are faster and more stable making it easier for people to do the distances required per day.
This includes sprayskirts, paddles & spare paddles, bouyancy vests, paddle floats, pumps etc.
Our guides are seasoned professionals with international qualifications. Not only are they familiar with the regions in which they paddle, they are also fully trained in sea kayak rescues, first aid and emergency procedures.
2 man tents & sleeping mats. Camp lights and stove for cooking. Pots, pans, cutlery & cups for eating and drinking.
All food, snacks and drinks are included from lunch on day 1 to lunch on day 4. Any special dietary requirements should be communicated to SKHK at time of booking. All guests are expected to help with meal preparation and cleaning duties afterwards.
We will be taking photos all the trip whcih will be freely available for download after the tour is over.
