iTHE UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK - SEA KAYAK JOURNEY
SAI KUNG to PAK LAP WAN - one way
This is a one way journey from the sheltered waters of Sai Kung (Shelter Bay) paddling through one of many passages between the islands , stopping along the way until we reach our destination at Pak Lap Wan.
The route between the inner islands will be determined by the wind and tidal currents on the day. Once we reach the outer passages, the swells from the open ocean beyond will also come into play.
Your guide will pick the best route based on the skills and experience of the paddlers.
This trip explores both the inner and outer islands of Shelter Bay in the UNESCO Global Geopark. Depending on the weather and sea conditions you will snorkel over coral reefs, visit deserted beaches, paddle around culturally significant islands and geologically spectacular coastal features (sea arches, tunnels, caves etc).
This is a strenuous trip so only people who have paddled a sea kayak before should attempt it.

Our guides are seasoned professionals with international qualifications. Not only are they familiar with the regions in which they paddle, they are also fully trained in sea kayak rescues, first aid and emergency procedures.
