Start: 9.00am РDameisha Beach   Р Finish: 5.00pm РDameisha Beach

From the safety of Dameisha, we introduce you to the kayak and paddle and how to maneuver and paddle forward and then start exploring the coastline. During a short journey you will be introduced to different strokes to help to handle the kayak more efficiently.

After a briefing (takes about 30 minutes) we set up the sea kayaks for your comfort and safety. Each kayak requires adjustment to suit the paddler of the day.

We then practice how to turn, propel and stop the kayak before heading east along the Dapeng Peninsula coastline.
This is a beautiful coast over directly opposite the wilderness Sai Kung Country Park of Hong Kong. There are 23 remote beaches on the Dapeng coastline. We will paddle off with the intention of having lunch at one of these.
These are sheltered waters so offer the beginner the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day on the water, learning new skills and meeting new people of like mind.

On our return paddle to the beach we will practice all our paddling techniques to ensure that, if you do wish to take up the sport of sea kayaking you are ready to take the Sea Kayak Control course, the first of our Beginner Sea Kayak courses.
